Clinical Services

MSK Radiology &
Interventions

Subspecialty MSK expertise for complex imaging and image-guided intervention. Open to clinician referrals and patient-direct enquiries. Radiologic Clinic, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore.

A considered, boutique service.
Not a high-volume read factory.

Second opinion cases are reviewed for suitability before acceptance. Consultations take place in person at the Radiologic Clinic, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital — please bring digital copies of your imaging on a disc or USB. This is a deliberate approach: every case accepted is one Dr Tham has the capacity and context to engage with properly.

Two referral pathways. Second opinions are open to both referring clinicians and patients seeking a direct specialist read. Clinician-referred cases carry the full benefit of clinical context and history. Patient-direct enquiries are welcome, but the scope of the opinion will be more limited — imaging alone tells only part of the story. Image-guided interventions remain referral-based.

Service 01

MSK Radiology
Second Opinions

Expert subspecialty review of complex or equivocal musculoskeletal imaging. For cases where the primary read is uncertain, where findings don't fit the clinical picture, or where a specialist interpretation is needed before committing to surgery or further workup.

Each opinion is a detailed subspecialty report — not a restatement of findings, but a considered read that helps move a case forward. Consultations are in person at the Radiologic Clinic, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. Please bring digital copies of all relevant imaging. All cases are reviewed for suitability prior to acceptance.

Accepted from Referring clinicians (orthopaedic surgeons, spine surgeons, rheumatologists, sports medicine physicians, neurologists, GPs) · Patients seeking a direct specialist read (scope of opinion is more limited without clinical referral context)

Interventions

All interventions are referral-based. Cases are reviewed prior to procedure to confirm indication, imaging correlation, and procedural plan. Referring clinicians receive a procedure report and are kept in the loop throughout.

Whether you are a referring clinician or a patient seeking a direct specialist read, the process is the same — direct, considered, and handled personally.

Step 01

Make an enquiry

Submit via the contact form or email echotrain@gmail.com directly. Clinicians: include relevant clinical history and the specific question you need answered. Patients: describe your situation and the imaging you have had done.

Step 02

Suitability review

Each case is reviewed before acceptance. If the case is suitable, an appointment is confirmed at the Radiologic Clinic, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. If additional information is needed, you will be contacted directly.

Step 03

Attend with your imaging

Bring digital copies of all relevant scans on a disc or USB to your appointment. Dr Tham will review the imaging with you and discuss findings in context — this is a consultation, not a remote read.
